PLEASE NOTE · This document contains a summary of some of the rental conditions. For detailed conditions, refer to the rental agreement upon vehicle collection. · Rental basis is per Calender day. · Minimum rental period is 4 days · All rates and conditions are subject to change as required and without prior notification.
GETTING A QUOTE & MAKING A BOOKING Obtaining a quote or booking can be done by contacting West Ozi Motorhome Hire by phone or email. A 20% deposit is required at time of booking. Full payment is then required within 14 days of travel. Payments are accepted in cash, direct deposit, MasterCard and VISA accepted, money orders or bank cheques in Australian dollars as long as the cheque/money order is received 14 working days before the travel date.

* Kitchen equipment includes plates, bowls, cups, glasses, knives, forks, spoons, bottle/can opener, mixing bowls, colander, saucepans, frying pan, cooking utensils, chopping board, kettle, toaster and tea towels. * Linen and bedding includes pillow, pillowcase, doona (duvet) & cover, sheets and towel per person. * General equipment includes outdoor chairs/table, dishwashing detergent, dish cloth/sponge, toilet roll, pegs, dustpan/brush, fire extinguisher, bucket/hose, broom, lighter, ice cube trays, coat hangers, toilet chemicals and floor safe.
LICENCE A valid, non-provisional Australian driving license, or an appropriate overseas driving license accompanied by international driver’s permit must be produced upon vehicle collection.
MINIMUM AGE Drivers must be 25 years of age or over.
REFUSAL OF RENTAL West Ozi Motorhome Hire reserves the right to refuse any rental at its discretion.
TRAFFIC INFRINGEMENTS The renter will be charged for any speeding or parking fines, traffic infringements, road toll fines and associated administration costs.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PASSENGERS The vehicle rented may only be used with a maximum number of 4 passengers as specified by the licencing authority.
ROAD RESTRICTION Vehicles may only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads.
ANIMALS No animals are permitted in our vehicles, excluding guide dogs.
RENTAL DURATION · Rental days are charged per calendar day. When calculation the number of days a vehicle is rented, the day of pick-up is counted as day one of the rental. The day of the vehicle’s return is counted as the final day of the rental. Vehicles are required to be collected and returned between 6am and 7 pm unless arranged otherwise. · Minimum rental periods are 4 days. · All one-way hires are subject to a minimum 14 day hire requirement. · Late pick-up or early return of vehicle does not entitle the hirer to any refund of the unused portion of the rental.
ONE-WAY HIRE One-way hire is only permitted for a minimum of 14 day hire and the only drop off destination permitted is Rockingham, Perth at a specified address given by West Ozi Motorhome Hire. A One-Way Hire fee will apply of $350.
BOOKING AMENDMENTS All amendments to bookings are subject to availability of vehicle and authorisation from West Ozi Motorhome Hire. Different rates may apply based on the amendment made.
CHANGE OF DROP-OFF DESTINATION The changing of the drop-off destination is not permitted after the vehicle has been picked up.
CUSTOMER CARE ON-ROAD ASSISTANCE Any problems associated with the vehicle, including equipment failure, must be reported to West Ozi Motorhome Hire as soon as possible and within 24 hours in order to give West Ozi Motorhome Hire the opportunity to rectify the problem during the rental. Failure to do so will compromise any claims for compensation. West Ozi Motorhome Hire does not accept liability for any claims submitted after this period. ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS & SERVICES To be requested at time of reservation or upon vehicle collection and paid by customer on the day of vehicle collection; · Baby Capsule $20 per rental · Pre-Purchase Gas Option $35 per rental · (gas bottle used for cooking. Also optional use for hot water facilities and refrigerator) · Generator $10 per day, max $200 · BBQ $20 per rental · Snorkel Set $10 each per rental · Baby High Chair $10 per rental · Folding Pusher $10 per rental
CANCELLATION FEES
FUEL REFILL FEE The vehicle is supplied with a full tank of fuel. The vehicle should be returned with a full tank of fuel. If the vehicle is returned without the fuel tank full a refill fee of $10 plus the cost of the fuel will be charged.
CLEANING FEE There is a $40 cleaning fee. If the vehicle is clean and toilet cassette empty on return the cleaning fee will not apply. It is not necessary to wash the linen.
PROTECTION – VEHICLE EXCESS West Ozi Motorhome Hire strongly recommends that all people travelling in Australia take out personal travel insurance. The vehicle is insured for damage to the vehicle or to the property of a Third Party. The hirer is responsible for the first $4000 (“the excess”) of the cost of damage to Third Party property or to the rented vehicle, including single vehicle accident, windscreen and tyre damage, towing and recovery costs, theft, fire, break-in or vandalism. This also includes the cost of the daily rental for the period the vehicle is off fleet for accident repairs. The excess applies in respect of each claim. The excess is applicable regardless of who is at fault and must be paid at the time the accident is reported. The excess will be refunded if the costs of damages are recovered from a third party. The $4000 excess may be reduced by taking out an excess reduction option. The two options available are Reduction Option 1 or 2. Reduction Option 1
Reduction Option 1 – The hirer is responsible for the first $2000 (“the excess”) of the cost of damage to third party property or to the rented vehicle, including single vehicle accident, windscreen and tyre damage, towing and recovery costs, theft, fire, break-in or vandalism with the exception of the ‘exclusions’. This also includes the cost of the daily rental for the period the vehicle is off fleet for accident repairs. The excess applies in respect of each claim. Reduction Option 2
Reduction Option 2 – The hirer is responsible for the first $500 (“the excess”) of the cost of damage to third party property or to the rented vehicle, including single vehicle accident, windscreen and tyre damage, towing and recovery costs, theft, fire, break-in or vandalism with the exception of the ‘exclusions’. This also includes the cost of the daily rental for the period the vehicle is off fleet for accident repairs. The excess applies in respect of each claim. Exclusions All protection cover will be made void if any of the following exclusions are breached; 1. Overhead and under body damage to the vehicle. 2. Any water related damage 3. Personal belongings 4. Any damage caused by wilful misconduct (eg sitting or standing on the bonnet or roof of the vehicle). 5. Any damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 6. The hirer will be liable for any costs associated with the incorrect use of fuel or the use of Bio-Diesel which should not be used, or water or other contamination of fuel. 7. The cost to retrieve or recover the vehicle. 8. The cost to replace keys, which have been lost or retrieval of keys, which have been locked in a vehicle. 9. Drivers not identified on the rental agreement and/or drivers that have a licence that has been cancelled or suspended and/or drivers who have a licence that is classified as a learners or probationary licence.
SECURITY DEPOSIT Upon vehicle collection, a security deposit is required. The amount is determined by the Protection Reduction Option selected, Option 1 $2000 or Option 2 $500. If no excess reduction option is taken the security deposit is $4000 payable by cash, money order or direct deposit. The security deposit is fully refundable provided the vehicle is returned on time, clean, undamaged, with the waste tanks empty and fuel tank and LP Gas full. West Ozi Motorhome Hire reserves the right to withhold a portion of the security deposit in the event of a breach of any term of the agreement. |
